Octopath Traveler is a modern classic in the truest sense— a grand journey with a colorful cast of characters; a revamped turn-based battle system; stunning 2D art; and of course a gorgeous soundtrack brimming with melancholy piano pieces, soaring orchestral strings, and overdriven battle themes.  Released in the Summer of 2018, Octopath Traveler is the story of eight strangers whose personal stories intertwine to reveal a singular dastardly plot to release an evil upon their land.  Along the way, tales are told, friendships are formed, and the world is better for it. 

It is with these themes in mind that FLAMESGRACE: A Tribute to Octopath Traveler was created.  Both new and veteran members of the Materia Community have teamed up to create fresh interpretations of their favorite tracks, leaning on each other’s strengths and forming new friendships along the way.  Each track on this album represents a collaborative effort, a joining of forces, to create something unique and wonderful.  We are extremely proud to share this album with you, and hope that you love it as much as we do.
