Gargan Roo is a subterranean network of enormous roots that the party traverses using a giant insect. There is a quirky yet heavy dissonance about the musical textures in the original track that lends itself well to progressive metal. Combining numerous motivic and formulaic compositional aesthetics in contemporary classical music with the density and atmosphere of prog metal, this arrangement presents a psychedelic mishmash of styles reminiscent of early Pink Floyd that befits the imagery of giant annelids and arthropods running rampant underneath Treno and Alexandria Castle.
