The aim of the “Remastered” series is to keep the integrity of the source material intact, while still updating the sound to reflect a modern aesthetic. The same holds true for this remastered version of the Final Fantasy VI soundtrack. We all know Nobuo Uematsu’s work speaks for itself, and I’m honored to be able to work with it. This is Disc 1 of the soundtrack; the others will come sometime in the future. Given the release date of this album (2013), I may just redo everything and release the whole OST at once!
