Echoes of the Ronso

Jeff Swingle

6 minutes • August 18, 2017

One of the biggest tragedies in FFX is the near eradication of the Ronso tribe at Seymour's hand. I imagine this song originally could have been sung as the Ronso went to war with Seymour, reflecting their confidence and resolve knowing they will most likely perish and end up in the Farplane. Their parting voices echo throughout Mount Gagazet in this arrangement. My biggest influences came from Masashi Hamauzu's score for Sigma Harmonics and Jeremy Soule's beloved Skyrim score.
