I love Richard Jacques' music to Sonic R and I knew right away I wanted to arrange Can You Feel the Sunshine. I decided to go far away from the 90's electro-pop sound and go for a 70's power ballad sound complete with brass band, drums, piano, bass, and of course a soulful vocalist. The ending result just sounds right and I believe it really fits into the Sonic sound of combining complex, modern melodies with jazz and funk.
