Recording Notes: This is the land of summoned monsters, buried deep within the Earth. You access a cave, and make your way down. It’s a pretty challenging place, lots of damage-inducing poison stuff on the floor, secrets to be found, and of course, once you get to the down, it’s where all the monsters live. Leviathan is the king and Ashura is the queen of summoned monsters. You fight them both. You get Rydia back here as an adult, too. Kinda mysterious and magical place.
Track Commentary: This is such a mysterious and moody piece of music, I knew it’d go over well on guitar. I can barely listen to this arrangement without falling asleep, which can be said for the original as well. That made all the annoying encounters and traps in this area of the game even more difficult.
