Jim is a software engineer who, like many others, got into computers through video games. Outside of work Jim is a member of Super Smash Opera and performs with community opera companies such as the Pittsburgh Savoyards and Undercroft Opera. He co-created (with wife Bonnie Bogovich) and starred in fan-videos for Jonathan Coulton’s songs I Feel Fantastic and Travels of Code Monkey. He was also a prolific extra in Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera, giving rise to the “spot Jim in the background video” drinking game.
