Anne Strader is a seismologist who is also passionate about music composition and performance, in a variety of genres. During her time at UCLA as a graduate student, she played violin in the UCLA Symphony, and flute in the UCLA Symphonic Band. Soon after its inception, Anne joined the UCLA Game Music Ensemble (GME) as a violinist, which fostered an interest in arranging video game music for orchestra, chamber ensembles, and most recently synths. She arranged the Phoenix Wright medley “Dark Age of the Law”, which was performed by GME in May 2015, and performed with GME at Indiecade 2014. Although she has mostly arranged and composed orchestral music, recently Anne has begun to work with electronic music as well, beginning with the “Desert Wasteland” remix “Dystopian Oasis”. She currently lives in Germany and enjoys science fiction, cyberpunk culture, industrial music, and learning new languages.
